Nokia recently announced the launch of new smartphone from lumia series Lumia 1020. The Nokia lumia 1020 is launched in US market soon it will launch in indian market as well.

With Lumia 1020 Nokia is trying to take up high end smartphone market which is currently ruled by android phones. Together with Carl Zeiss,nokia yet again pushed the limits of optical design to match the resolution of the 41 megapixel camera sensor. To provide the best optical resolution nokia has increased the number of lenses used from five to six.

The second generation 41 megapixel sensor uses the latest generation 1.1 micron back-side-illuminated (BSI)pixels, providing excellent noise performance as well as benchmark resolution. The sensor format is 1/1.5” and it is up to five times larger than typical smartphone sensors.
